In recent weeks, Black Lives Matter activists have been busy burning bridges with potential allies, unnecessarily stirring up gratuitous amounts of racial tension, destroying property and just generally making an all around nuisance of themselves. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has finally stepped in and put their foot down, asserting that the activist movement be classified as a hate group.

Tensions between the group came to a head after Bernie Sanders was run offstage on August 8th during an election rally. Black Lives Matter zealots stormed the stage unannounced and uninvited, disrupting the proceedings and shouting expletives over the PA system. By the time the disorderly individuals were ushered offstage they had effectively rattled the audience and infuriated everyone involved in the production of the rally.

Helen Barrymore, who is coordinator of the Colorado grassroots organization “All Lives Matter”, seemed to be in agreement with the SPLC’s recent decision. “Enough is enough! Slavery occurred nearly 400 years ago and there are still people who have nothing better to do than beat this dead horse and play the victim and perpetuate problems just for the sake of stoking tensions between racial groups. This is ludicrous and unacceptable. Plenty of other racial and ethnic groups have endured far more horrific persecutions throughout history and you don’t see them using it as a reason to promote animosity, hostility and malice. This is the primary directive of “Black Lives Matter” advocates. They have earned their status as a hate group.”

Lisha Johnson is the longtime owner and operator of the “Equality Jungle” cafe in St. Louis Missouri. After witnessing the rampant violence and destruction in her neighborhood following the Michael Brown incident, she had some surprising input on the matter. “Black lives don’t matter any more or any less than any other life on this planet. If you are perpetuating your status as a victim of society in order to justify violent and unlawful acts or behaviors, you are a criminal, period. I am grateful that the Southern Poverty Law Center is finally stepping up to the plate and calling a spade a spade. Hate groups operating under the guise of social justice activism organizations should be shut down immediately. I am hoping they act swiftly in disabling this scourge which is more of an embarrassment to the black community than it is a beneficial presence.”
